Facile synthesis of defected TiO2- (B) nanosheet/graphene oxide hybrids with high photocatalytic H2 activity

چکیده

TiO2 (B) nanosheets/GO (graphene oxide) hybrids are considered to be outstanding performance photocatalysts for high efficiency of H2 evolution. However, they still suffer severe challenges during the synthetic processes, such as a large amount capping agents adhering on surface and easy occurrence aggregation. To figure out these obstacles, Ar plasma treatment modified method in this study not only enable nanosheets distributed uniformly GO sheets but also engineer defects within significantly improve photocatalytic activity water splitting. The hydrogen evolution rate TiO2-x (B)/GO is 1.4 times higher compared with that original without treatment. improved properties were owing synergetic effects oxygen vacancies heterojunction between (B), which can promote visible light utilization accelerate separation transportation photogenerated electron-holes. This provide facile pathway prepare two-dimensional hybrid activity.
